As a parent, you find yourself getting really excited over little things
that may go unnoticed otherwise framed in daily life. For example, a
lot of people wouldn't think much of this puzzle and it's pieces stacked
on top; it appears to be a mash up of animals abandoned by their little boy zookeeper. But through the mom viewfinder, I
see Landon understanding the concept that the pieces go on the
puzzle board (versus in his mouth, of course). He is a ways away from figuring out how to match the animals
and the shapes, but watching him purse his lips in concentration as he carefully
plunks the wooden pieces on the board makes me smile.
Except for you, Elephant. You stay there. |
